As the flowers of spring begin to bloom, the PAC fills with the work of North’s young artists in the annual Spring Art Show. “(The show) gives our art students the opportunity to show what they have been doing to the whole community, not just the classroom,” art teacher Robert Thies said.

Last Friday, freshmen in green and gold uniforms didn’t plague the gym, nor did ravenous adolescents fill the cafeteria, noshing on school lunches. Instead, a very different breed of youth roamed A-building. A breed entertained by North students as they sprung through the air on moon bounces, laughed their way through carnival festivities, and chowed down Coney Island and cotton candy. A breed we call elementary school students.
